Children's

Stories with a Difference.

So what is the 'difference' in my stories?

The books are designed for adults to read to children. They  are engaging, enjoyable and informative for all ages, and are meant to

prompt discussion.

Written with the intention of informing adults and children about neurodiversity and behaviour traits, the stories include tips and ideas of how to help too. They answer a lot of questions which parents ask when they come to my therapy and parenting sessions with their children!

My books are written in simple enjoyable story form with language to stretch young minds and engage older children and adults too. They explore some of the emotional and behavioural challenges children and parents face today, and are a suitable read for all ages, exploring themes of ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and more, as well as topics such as anxiety, anger, frustration and grief.

THESE BOOKS WILL SOON HAVE DOWNLOADABLE RESOURCES AVAILABLE FOR ADULTS TO USE WITH THE BOOKS TO ENABLE DISCUSSION AND LEARNING BOTH AT HOME  IN SCHOOL OR IN SESSIONS

Teenager's

Stories with a Purpose.

So what is the 'purpose' in my books?

These are Therapist-crafted fiction for teens and the adults who support them.

The books in this series tells the stories teenagers don't always have words for. Each book follows a young person navigating the invisible struggles that shape everyday life, the weight of never feeling good enough, the noise that drowns out learning, the doubt that dims what makes you shine, the storms of anxiety and low mood, the glitches in how your brain processes the world, and the ache of holding on to what used to be. Each story educates, validates, and opens doors to conversation whether you're a teen recognising yourself for the first time, or a grown-up looking for a way in.

Why I wrote the books

I have realised over the past few years in my therapy sessions that many children and parents need more information and support with children who have differences or may possibly be on the spectrum.

In a world where waiting lists for diagnosis are so long, this inspired me to create a series of books which aim to give an initial insight into individual differences and to suggest helpful tips for families as they battle with knowing what to do and how best to help theit children, when they have or are waiting for a diagnosis.

The books also aim to inform neurotypical people, to promote understanding and acceptance. I believe there is a need for neurotypical people to understand and accept  uniqueness in all individuals, especially those

who have differences or who are neurodivergent.

Discover these unique books designed to spark meaningful conversations and learning. Perfect for parents and children, these stories provide insights into neurodiversity, emotional challenges, and behaviour traits. Engage with stories that educate and inspire,

promoting understanding and acceptance.
